Hello Everyone!
We hope that you all had a fabulous weekend! This is our last full week of school. The school year is really flying by. Let's make this a great week of learning.
Here are your distance learning goals for today.
Reading
Please watch the video which is about the next part of the book Gone Fishing: A Novel in Verse. When you are done, answer question #5 in your packet.
Writing
🦉As always, today we will write our Weekend Web entry with 5-8 strong sentences about your weekend. Remember to use details including what you did, how you felt, who was with you, and more. We would love to hear you share these writing pieces during our Wednesday Zoom meetup.

Math
For math today, please watch this video of Lesson 8 where you will see Mr. Duane talking you through the main idea of the lesson. Today you will be representing data on a line plot, but today you'll need to work more independently on this task than you did on Friday. If you forget what to do, looking back in your workbook at lesson 7 may help!🦉After watching the video, please complete the problem set. I will post the answers to the problem set tomorrow. You do not need to do the homework unless you'd like some extra practice. If you finish with extra time, you can play Reflex or Zearn.
Here are the answers for Lesson 7 problem set:
Science
Okay, Herpetologists (a person who studies reptiles and amphibians) today we are going to begin our frog mini book that you received in your most recent envelope. Last week, we selected key features of a new species of frog. You selected the type of head, coloration, habit, etc. Today you will complete the first two pages of your mini book. You will draw a picture of your frog on the cover of the book. Make sure that it matches the features that you picked out last week. On the second page, you will describe the physical features of your frog. Use the "My Frog Engineering Cards" page to help you remember the features that you selected. Last, draw and label a diagram of your frog. Save the last two pages of the book for later in the week.
Cursive
Today you'll be learning the last 13 upper case letters. That means you will know how to make ALL of the letters, upper and lower case! Please watch the video if it is helpful, and complete pages 74 & 75 in your cursive book.
