Hello Terrific Third Graders!

There are only two days left to call you third graders! Let's make them awesome with some great work to end off the school year!

Remember that we will have our Zoom meeting today at 12:00. We will hear Ava and Xavi's reading presentations, and then you can share any work you have been doing. If there is time remaining, we will play a game!

Here are your distance learning goals for today.

Reading
Wow! Your book review presentations yesterday were fantastic! Thank you for all of your hard work and the amazing presentations and projects! We are so proud of you!

Today, you will be doing a final reading assessment on Raz Kids. Watch the video below to see how to do the assessment. Make sure you have enough time to do it because you can't stop in the middle once you've started it.

If you have time when you are done with your reading assessment, you can use the rest of the reading time to continue to do free reading. Please fill out the ðŸ¦‰Reading Log Form after you finish so that we can be kept up-to-date with what awesome books you are reading!

Math
You still may not have gotten your packet yet, but you can still check out the math puzzles for this week with the link below. Try to complete another 2-3 puzzles today to practice your math skills AND learn some new facts!

Social Studies:
Read through the Nigeria article that we posted.  Answer the questions on a scrap piece of paper.  If you are having trouble reading the article, click on each picture to enlarge it.

Writing:
Please complete the two Mad Libs puzzles.  These should have arrived in the mail.  If they did not, you can use a blank piece of paper to write down the answers and then read the entire story from the computer.

Cursive:
Please complete page 77 in your cursive book.

Bonus:
Mrs. Bryant recorded a read aloud of The Little House.
